Certification for the Administrative Professional

Exam Information


Effective November 2011, all active CPS ratings were changed to CAP, and all active CAP ratings were changed to CAP-OM.

IAAP’s CAP and specialty examinations are administered on the first Saturday in May and November.

2250 US Highway 70 SE, Hickory, NC  28602

        The CAP exam is a 41/2-hour exam administered on Saturday morning

       The Organizational Management exam (CAP-OM) is a 31/2-hour exam administered Saturday afternoon.

Study Group for CAP & CAP-OM Exams for November 2013 & May 2014

The Cabarrus Chapter is coordinating a study group for the November 2013
and May 2014 certification exams, and we welcome those who plan to sit
for the exams at any time in the near or far future.

Day: Most Mondays, in the evening

Time: Usually 5:30 – 7 pm, late arrival is fine

Location: Cabarrus County, right off I-85, Exit 60

Materials: Variety

Tips and tricks discussed.

You can study for one or both exams. The more folks who participate,
the greater our pool of knowledge!
