Charlotte Chapter History

The Charlotte Chapter is a part of the North Carolina Division, the Southeast District, and the International Association of Administrative Professionals.  The chapter was formed in 1948 and is the largest chapter in the North Carolina Division with 40 plus diverse members whose advocacy demonstrates their personal involvement and success in their profession.  Members enjoy affiliation with an internationally recognized professional organization and the opportunity to network with other administrative professionals from a variety of businesses.  We enjoy sharing with each other and also giving back to our community through various projects throughout the year.  A community service project is featured at each monthly chapter meeting.  Members are also encouraged to take leadership roles within the chapter to enhance their communication and management skills.

Seminars and speakers are provided monthly for members to grow both personally and professionally.  The educational benefits are designed to help members stay on top of the latest technology and best business practices. We invite you to join us for a fun and informative program every second Monday of the month. Additionally, professional development hour credits, CAP/CAP-OM re-certification points, or a certificate of attendance is awarded for these meetings.
